Walk from Carrion de los Condes to Terradillos de Templarios

April 4, 2011 – this was a long and unusual day!  The first stretch of the walk was close to 19 km with NO towns or services of any kind.  Also, few relics or photo opportunities.  For most of the day, I walked alone and, towards the end, was joined by Lutz, a retired german!  He knows little english and I only some german, but we manage to communicate well and develop simpatico!!!

The meseta days when starting grey!

The church of Ledigos

Notice the walls are made of Mud mixed with straw and pebbles… when it rains, it falls apart!

A sample of an outdated building style.
