Walk from Logrono to Najera

Sunday, March 27th… I started very early when it was still dark… In Spain, the springtime time change took place at 2am… I was completely amazed at the number of people roaming the streets… plus, the plan was to walk 29.4km (about 18.6 miles).

Spain is famous for its BULL

Passing by the fields of La Rioja, in the distance were several snow capped mountains.  The sky looked pretty grey and much like impending rain, with strong wind, and wind chill… it was cold.  The day improved greatly and ended up quite nice and warm.

This is a photo of the usual gang, minus Roberto (Brazil): Phillip (Italy), Paul (Germany), Me, and Lina (Portugal, but German citizen).

The Gang... minus one

Just after we took the photo of the gang, we made a visit to the inside of the church in Navarette.
