Walk from Puente la Reina to Estella

Thursday, March 24th, was our walk from Puente la Reina to Estella – about 21 km.  Fortunately, the day was relatively flat with lots of up & down for short distances.

The highlights of the day were some of the towns and mideval bridges that we past by on the walk.

This was the day that my backpack talked to me, as it creeked back and forth.  As there were few, if any, places for food, my backpack repeated over and over: “Bocadillo – Bocadillo – Bocadill0.”

The notable fact for the day was that it sprinkled rain off and on most of the day.  I ended the day walking into Estella with a new friend, Roberto from Sao Paula, as it started to rain more consistently.  By evening, it was pouring!
